Nyarkoa Darko-Ampem is Face of Black's Secret Make-up


Nyarkoa Darko-Ampem, a final year student of Central University College has been crowned the first ambassador and model of Face of Black's Secret make-up. The beautiful young lady was choosen on sunday night at the Plush La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel after a battle with 12 other girls.

The finalists went through a number of rounds to showcase their personalities, grace, photographic appeal and other attributes that a brand ambassador for a cosmetic product line should have. There were alse musical performances on the night to make it an all round experience for patrons.

The 13 finalists who took part in the competion are: Sermira Adams, Pamela Ashiabor, Ada Nsitem, Geraldine Partington, Nyarkoa Darko-Ampem, Jasmine Nkrumah, Deidre Makin-Q, Genevieve Cooper Naa Yaa, Antionette Lady Arko, Princess Maame Ama Safo, Chantell Dapaah, Whitney Asamoah, and Mawuena Ama Anthony. Nyarko gets a brand New Kia Cerato Saloon car (Official Car) for use for 1 year, 6,000GHC yearly allowance, Black’s Secret products for a year, 1 year brand endorsement contract and other fantastic prizes from sponsors. The first and second runners ups received 1500 GHC and 1000 GHC Cash respectively. The other finalists received rewarding consolation prizes.


The Black’s Secret Makeup brand is marketed by Berlin Investments limited international cosmetics company. The makeup range is made specifically for women of colour and seeks to provide high end quality products for everyday use.
